Once again hosted on the lush, award-winning golf course grasses of Quail Lodge & Golf Club, in Carmel, California, The Quail Motorcycle Gathering presented by Medallia will celebrate the evolution of two-wheeled beauties with more than 300 vintage and modern motorcycles, scooters, and bicycles on display. The 2024 event feature leading manufacturers showcasing their newest and most popular bikes, lifestyle and retail exhibitors, gourmet lunch options, local wines and brews, and a family-friendly kid’s area.
The Quail Motorcycle Gathering celebrates the past, present and the future of motorcycling every year with these traditional classes:

The weather for Friday looks good and the Moto Talbott Motorcycle Museum on Friday is open. We don’t want to spend club funds to make it an AMA sanctioned road ride if there will be low participation Friday.
If you would like to ride as a club Friday to Moto Talbot please rsvp to Coast-Riders <[email protected]> with your rendezvous point. If we get enough riders we’ll make it a regular club ride and do another email Thursday confirming. If we don’t we’ll cancel this weekends rides.
Note early start time: If we get enough riders we’ll meet at Costco by the air pumps at 9:00 AM to sign up, Leave at 9:15. We’ll meet the Highway 1/Morro Bay folks at Spencer’s Fresh Market 2650 Main St, Morro Bay at 9:45, leave Spencer’s at 10:00. We’ll take Old Creek Rd to 46 to Vineyard Drive. We will also stop to pick up the Atascadero and Paso Robles folks at the Donati Family Vineyard 2720 Oak View Rd. Templeton, CA 93465 around 10:30. We’ll take Vinyard Drive to Adelaide to Chimney Rock to Nacimiento Lake Dr to Bee Rock arriving around 11:15. We’ll have lunch at The Lawrence Restaurant 611 Canal St. in King City end up on Carmel Valley Road and visit the Moto Talbott Motorcycle Museum on Friday around 2:30, then return to SLO Friday.
