General Membership Meeting July 2019

This meeting we will focus on ride safety with a presentation by long distance riders Cathy Novak and Ted Kapner. Ted just returned from a cross-country ride to Washington DC and Cathy is about to embark on a Route 66 round trip (CA – IL – CA)! Together, they will lead a group discussion on ride safety including hydration strategies for hot weather and long distance rides, what to carry on your bike in the area of first aid/roadside emergencies, and a few tips (learned the hard way) on keeping yourself safe on the road.
