Since we went north last month on a Sunday we will head south to another new location which is the recently opened Chumash Museum in Santa Ynez on Saturday July 19th. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for Seniors. We’ll take 166 to Tepusquet to Foxen Canyon to Ballard Canyon stopping for lunch at the Maverick Saloon in Santa Ynez. Meet at American Riveria Bank, 1085 Suite 100, Higuera St, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 at 9:00 AM for coffee talk and sign up. Kickstands up at 9:30. We’ll meet the South county folks at 10:20 at Hwy 101 and 166 taking Tepusquet Road to Foxen Canyon to Hwy 154. We’ll then proceed to the Maverick Saloon 3687 Sagunto St. Suite D. Santa Ynez, CA 93460 for lunch. After lunch we will proceed to the Chumash Museum 3500 Numancia Street, Santa Ynez CA 93460, then return to SLO via Rt 1.
