This month we want to cool off and ride up the coast to Gorda with two new venues! We’ll stop for coffee and pastries at our namesake Coast-Riders Inn in San Simeon where Coast-Rider member Albert Barreto will show us around his recently remodeled hotel then proceed to the Whale Watcher’s Inn in Gorda for lunch. We’ll meet at The Blackhorse Coffee Shop 1065 Higuera St. San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 at 9:00 for “Coffee Talk” and AMA sign in. Kick Stands up at 9:30. We’ll take the long way to Cambria via Whale Rock Reservoir and Old Creek Road to CA-46 and meet up (sign in) the north county folks at the shell station in Cambria at 10:45. Leave Cambria at 11:00 and ride to Coast-Riders Inn, 9450 Castillo Drive in San Simeon at 11:15. Leave Coast-Riders Inn at 11:45 and arrive Gorda around 12:30 for lunch at the Whale Watcher’s Inn.
